The College Football Hall of Fame is a 94,256 square-foot museum in downtown Atlanta dedicated to the greatest players and coaches in the history of college football.
8000 Avalon is a 224,000-square-foot 9 story office building located at Avalon, an 86-acre mixed-use development in the heart of Alpharetta. WayPoint Systems provided a Distech building automation system that featured IP based field level controllers all the way to the VAV/PIU boxes along with a BACnet integrated lighting control system. Additionally, WayPoint provided the electronic security package which included IP based intercoms, access control, elevator controls, IP based video surveillance, and parking gate arm controls.
1180 Peachtree, a 41-story office tower developed by Hines and completed in February 2006 in Midtown Atlanta, was the first high-rise office building in the southeastern United States to receive Gold certification under the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED for Core & Shell rating system.
